Meet the Daycare Team: August 2015

WOOFS! has an awesome staff. So who are these people who choose to spend their days with the dogs? This month we are featuring Spencer.

Spencer has been working at WOOFS! since April 2014. He is currently a daycare Shift Supervisor and an Apprentice Trainer. Spencer is certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR and is on his way to earning a TAGteach primary certification. Spencer plans to continue learning about dog behavior and training through the Karen Pryor Academy in 2016. Although Spencer loves working with dogs, he secretly wants to domesticate sharks one day.

Spencer has an eight-year-old Cairn Terrier named Captain Morgan as well as a one-year-old Mini American Shepherd named Knight Cap (also known as Cappy). While Morgan is a professional couch surfer, Spencer and Cappy are working towards earning their Canine Good Citizen title and looking to get into disc dog competitions.

Spencer's favorite part about working at WOOFS! is helping at Puppy Kindergarten classes on Thursdays and Puppy Parties on Saturday mornings. He loves to work with with very young puppies and watch them grow up week by week
