Meet the Daycare Team: October 2015

WOOFS! has an awesome staff. So who are these people who choose to spend their days with the dogs? This month we are featuring Meg.

Meg has worked at WOOFS! for over 5 years and is currently an Assistant Manager and an Apprentice Trainer. Meg has her primary certification for TAGteach as well as an American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR certification.

As an avid animal enthusiast, Meg's favorite part of working at WOOFS! is spending time with the dogs. Meg explains "Since joining the WOOFS! team I have learned a lot about patience and communication. Working with and training dogs has really helped me understand not only how dogs communicate but ways I can utilize those tools in my own life." Meg plans to continue working with dogs and hopes to focus on private training for puppies and shy dogs.

Meg currently has a 6 month old Jack Russell mix named Jace (a previous WOOFS! foster dog). While Jace and Meg have recently started Agility training, she has also taught her two cats, Kyo and Botan, to do tricks such as sit and high five.
