WOOFS! has an awesome staff. So who are these people who choose to spend their days with the dogs? This month we are featuring Susan.
Susan has worked at WOOFS! as a daycare attendant for just over one year. She grew up with dogs and volunteered at dog adoption events for about five years prior to joining our team. Susan's favorite part of working at WOOFS! is being able to work with so many different breeds - she knows over 100 breeds and is constantly learning more! Susan hopes to adopt a Brittany soon, which is her favorite breed. She also owns a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix named Charity who she rescued as a puppy.
Susan graduated from Marymount University in May with a Biology major and an Illustration minor. She loves doing almost any form of art but her favorites are studio art, print making, knitting, and crochet. Additionally, Susan enjoys creative writing in her spare time. You can meet Susan at our Ballston Campus on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and at our Shirlington Campus on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
